WINNER OF SATURDAY DRAWING WILL HAVE MORTGAGE, RENT PAID FOR A YEAR BY INDIANA LIVE CASINO
SHELBYVILLE, Ind. (Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2008) – Indiana Live Casino’s “$50,000 Live the Life” promotion began Dec. 1 and ends Saturday night with an 8 p.m. drawing on the casino floor. One lucky winner will receive a maximum of $1,250 a month or $15,000 for a year payment of their mortgage or rent courtesy of Indiana Live Casino.
To be eligible for Saturday night’s drawing, casino guests all this week can earn one entry into the “$50,000 Live the Life” promotion for every 100 same-day slot points they earn. Entrants must then be present for the drawing to win the big prize.
Two substantial prizes have already been awarded since the promotion began.
Susan Webb of Indianapolis won a drawing on Dec. 13 for a dream trip to Hawaii. However, she opted for a $10,000 cash option. “I’ve never been to Hawaii but I’m afraid to fly,” she said. “So the $10,000 will really come in handy with Christmas just around the corner.”
And Michelle Carr of Greenwood won the Dec. 6 drawing for a $15,000 shopping spree at Mall of America or New York City; she too selected the $10,000 cash prize option.
“This has been a fun promotion, one that has most definitely impacted some lives in a positive way,” said Mark Hemmerle, general manager of Indiana Live Casino.
Casino-goers are also reminded that financial contributions to support the Marine Corp. Toys for Tots campaign this holiday season will continue to be accepted this week through midnight Thursday. Players are encouraged to drop their financial donation into a Toys for Tots collection box in the casino lobby. Indiana Live Casino will match player contributions to Toys for Tots up to $10,000 and will make its donation Friday.
